Video games aren't just for kids anymore! October 15, 2010 SATURDAYS AT 3:00 P.M.
Our residents are getting a taste of just how much fun video games can be! For seniors who can't play sports as much as they used to, the Wii game module approximates the motion of the games they once enjoyed.
Players swing a motion-detecting controller like a golf club, bowling ball, tennis racquet, or other piece of athletic equipment…and, not only is it fun…but it’s also a form of exercise. Really!
One networking website for exercisers has an area dedicated to Wii players, and they swap tips about using the game to stay active, firm biceps, and lower blood pressure!
So, see…it’s not only fun, but it’s beneficial to your health, too! Why not join other “kids” enjoying their second childhood?! Call us today to let us know you’re coming over! 636-754-0100.
